Strong's Lexicon Lookup

Strong's Lexicon Lookup

Every word in the Bible can be traced back to an original Hebrew or Greek word. Each of these words has a Strong's number — a code that identifies it.

How to search by Strong's number

  1. Go to the Search page
  2. Type a Strong's number — for example: H7225 (Hebrew) or G26 (Greek)
  3. Press Enter

The result shows:
- The original word in Hebrew or Greek
- How to pronounce it (transliteration)
- The meaning in English and Papiamentu
- A list of verses where this word appears

How do I find a Strong's number?

You don't need to know the numbers by heart. When you use Study Mode in the verse viewer (see Study Mode and Concordance), each word shows its Strong's number. You can click on any word to look it up.
