Copying and Sharing Verses

You can copy verse text to share with friends, in a message, or on social media.

How to copy

1. Open a verse or chapter in the verse viewer
2. Select the text you want with your mouse or finger (tap and hold on a phone)
3. Use your device's Copy option (right-click → Copy, or the copy button on your phone)
4. Paste it wherever you like

What gets copied

When you copy text, you get the verse text along with the verse numbers. The format is clean and easy to read when you paste it into a message or document.

Sharing a link

You can also share a direct link to a specific chapter or verse:

1. Look at the URL in your browser's address bar — it contains the book, chapter, and verse
2. Copy the URL and send it to someone
3. When they open the link, they will see the same verse or chapter you were reading
