Using the Calendar Page
The calendar page shows a month-by-month view of the Zadok calendar overlaid on the regular (Gregorian) calendar.
How to read it
- Go to the Calendar page from the menu (under Grow)
- You will see the current month with colored highlights on special days
- Use the left and right arrows to move to the previous or next month
Color legend
Different colors mark different types of days:
- Shabbat (weekly rest day) — highlighted in one color
- High Shabbat (feast-day rest) — highlighted more prominently
- Feast days — marked with the feast name
- Tequfah (season turn) — marks the start of a new season
- Omer count — counting the days between Passover and Shavuot
Look for the legend on the calendar page to see exactly which color means what.
Clicking a day
Click on any day to see more details about that date — including the Zadok date, priestly course, and any special observances.
