Parallel Reading

Parallel Reading

You can read the Papiamentu (BSNP) and English (NASB) translations side by side.

How to use parallel view

  1. Open any chapter in the verse viewer
  2. In the controls bar or study panel, look for the Parallel option
  3. Click it to show both translations in two columns

How it looks

  • On a computer or tablet (wide screen): the two translations appear side by side — BSNP on the left, NASB on the right
  • On a phone (narrow screen): the translations stack vertically — BSNP on top, NASB below

This makes it easy to compare how a verse is translated in both languages.

Tips

  • Parallel view works best when reading a full chapter, so you can scroll through both translations together
  • You can still use study mode while in parallel view
  • Your parallel view preference is saved, so it will stay on next time you visit
