Word Search

You can search for any word or phrase that appears in the Bible text.

How to search by word

1. Go to the Search page
2. Type a word or phrase — for example: love or faith
3. Press Enter or tap the search button

The results show every verse that contains your word, with the matching word highlighted.

Results page

Each result shows:
- The verse reference (for example, John 3:16)
- A snippet of the verse text with your search word highlighted
- The translation it was found in

Click any result to open the full verse in the verse viewer.

Related by meaning

Below the main results, you may see a section called Related by meaning. These are verses that contain words with a similar meaning to what you searched for, based on the original Hebrew or Greek. This can help you discover verses you might have missed.
